Shafin Diamond
Chief Executive Officer

Shafin is a serial entrepreneur, philanthropist, and sports junkie. Shafin launched his first company, an online dating website, from his university dorm room at the age of 19. Since then, through his venture, Victory Square Labs, he has launched over 40 startups in 21 different countries, employing over 350 people and generating over $100 million in annual revenues. In 2014, Shafin was named Angel of the Year by Angel Forum. Shafin is also BC's Top 40 under 40 and the recipient of the Prime Minister's Volunteer Award.

Sheri Rempel
Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Rempel has more than 25 years of accounting and financial management experience. Ms. Rempel started her career with public companies in 2001 and currrently provides senior financial and advisory services to Canadian private and public corporations, acting in officer or controller capacities. In 2006 she founded CTB Consulting to provide ‘one-stop’ financial reporting services to public companies on the TSX and TSX-V exchanges.

Ray Walia
Chief Operating Officer

Ray is an entrepreneur and investor with experience in multiple businesses in a variety of industries with multiple successful exits. Ray's entrepreneurship background evolved through extensive involvement in his business as producer of global concerts & events for the Bollywood movie industry. In 2012 Ray co-founded LX Ventures & Launch Academy and took over as Executive Director of Metabridge. In 2014 Ray was named Entrepreneur Mentor of the Year for British Columbia and the Forty Under 40 list by Business In Vancouver.

Peter Smyrniotis

Peter Smyrniotis is technologist, entrepreneur, and commercialization & growth professional based in Vancouver, BC. Peter is a graduate of the University of Toronto, with expertise in Technology, Zoology and Anthropology and a Master in IT from Royal Roads University. Further, he has completed training and certification in business development, strategy, and technology from SAP, Microsoft, and Cisco Systems.

Tom Mayenknecht

Tom’s experience spans newspaper journalism, television, professional tennis, executive management leadership with both the Toronto Raptors and Vancouver Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association and the start ups of General Motors Place (now Rogers Arena), TSN 1040 all-sports radio station and the Vancouver Ravens of the National Lacrosse League. Tom is also the host of The Sport Market on TSN Radio in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver.

Howard Blank

A long-time VP (2002-2014) of Great Canadian Gaming Corporation (TSX GC), Howard is the principal of Point Blank Entertainment and consults to numerous projects in gaming and entertainment. Howard is also very active in the community, serving as President of the Variety BC children’s charity, VP of the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame, Co-Chair of the 9-11 Memorial and a member of the Boards of the Coast Foundation and YVR for KIDS. Howard received “The Lifetime Gaming Award” and “Philanthropy Award” from the Canadian Gaming Association along with The Paul Harris Fellowship from Rotary International and the 2015 BC Community Achievement Award.

A Vancouver based software developer with 10+ years experience in creating unique software-based solutions and custom web applications for small and mid-sized business, emerging companies and the government.

Binu Thomas
Head of Marketing

A 20 year marketing veteran with Grey Worldwide, MacLAREN McCANN and DraftFCB working with renowned brands such as PlayStation, DreamWorks, Paramount Pictures and Universal. Highlights include launching Etrade, Xbox in Canada and winning the Canadian Marketing Campaign of the year for his client Degree Anti-perspirant. Most recently, Binu helped grow an online dating company from $10,000,000 in annual revenues in 2008 to over $100,000,000 in 2014.
